| Okay, it's exactly 46 days until I graduate, and I really can't believe that. We just graduated from high school, didn't we? Well didn't we? I want to be a grown-up but I don't want to grow up. I'm scared of the world. I have this insane fear that I won't be able to find a job after I get back from France. And an even bigger fear that I won't even know where to apply because I have absolutely no clue what I want to do in life, not even a little bit. I need some kind of career counseling or something.
On a different note, my NCAA bracket is really screwed up. I went into it thinking "Hey, it would be fun to have a total Big 10 Final Four." Little did I know that this conference was going to be the ONLY ONE WITHOUT A SWEET SIXTEEN TEAM. With what, 8 teams going into the tournament, none of them could make it to the 16? Are you kidding me? Obviously, I didn't realistically think that all four would make it, but at least one? Maybe? NO. And I don't even really care about basketball, why am I getting so worked up about this? Is my life that uneventful. The answer is yes...Yes, i sit around with a pen in my hand and the bracket in front of me waiting for the games to be over so I can mark the winners. How lame-o is that?
Lastly, I just wanted to mention that Bush sucks. | | |
| so it's the last semester of school i hope ever and i'm so glad that i'm spending more time with friends and watching bball games and playing racquetball and lacrosse, instead of holing up and studying all the time, b/c frankly, i'd rather remember the fun times than the study times. not that i'm not doing my homework...au contraire mon frere...i do get it done, and that's the beauty of it...b/c instead of getting it done then just wathcing tv, i get it done and do something fun! not that i have many friends...but i try anyway. sooo yeah i have 4 papers due next week, 5 if you include my thesis on the day i said it was going to be "due", feb 1st, but yeah i don't think that's gonna happen b/c of the other 4 papers, which i already finished 3....oh yeah, see that productiveness? and i still had time to play euchre last nite. okay so back to the real world and writing about gender differences......fun! bon weekend! | | |
| So i'm sitting here trying to write my thesis, which i've been working on since last fall. i really only started writing it over christmas break and i got about 3/4 of the way done. it has to be done by the time i graduate, but i'm stressing cuz i wanna get it done b4 my schoolwork starts to get even harder...but each time i sit down to write i get pissed and end up writing on here or downloading madonna's new album (thanks joe), or looking at facebook, or doing a crossword puzzle, or SOMETHING. ahhhhh, i even like doing my other homework, especially french, b/c it takes me away from the thesis. all this talk about violence on tv and its effect on kids...everytime i watch tv now i'm like oh my gosh! that's so horrible for kids! i can't wait to be done! welllllll, enough procrastination for maintenant.......... ciao! | | |
